-850 mV Criterion

Cathodic Protection

A widely used CP criterion: a structure-to-electrolyte potential of -850 mV or more negative, measured against a copper/copper sulfate reference with IR drop considered. A minimum of 100 mV of polarization is another commonly accepted criterion.
