Chill Casting

Casting HSCI anodes in metal molds, by centrifugal casting or die casting, rather than sand. Chill-cast anodes perform better in CP service. ACC uses centrifugal casting because it places the alloy where it works best as a long-term anode, so the anodes passivate less and last longer.
